Hello, my name is Donna Holmes, I am a Mixed-Media Artist who enjoys exploring abstracted botanical paintings in graphite, acrylics, watercolours and collage materials.
I have recently completed 3 years as a mature art student with Art Academy East where I have learnt many artistic techniques and skills and built a wonderful artist network.
I am a prolific recruit of online courses, my current favourites are Karen Campbell Artist at Awesome Artschool and Ros Gervay at Art for the Heart.
I sold my first painting at a gallery exhibition in West Norfolk in 2022. It was an exhilarating, exciting experience and has given me the desire to continue to create and share my art with people. I have since sold further pieces, and continue to make art that thrills me.
I moved to Norfolk UK as a child and I have never left! I live with my husband, our two children and our cat. I am lucky enough to have my own Art Studio in our garden, my amazing husband built it. It is a space where I can escape to create my art, whenever I want.
